Warm and Sunny Chalet Hibou, beautiful views, sleeps 8

Chalet Hibou is a spacious warm apartment sleeping 8 people, offering a high standard of comfort, and in a great position just 6 minutes from walk the SuperMorzine lift and the Bourg area of Morzine. In addition, the views from the lounge picture windows and balcony are amazing - you can see the whole panorama of the Pleney and Nyon mountains! 

The apartment is on two levels; the main and lower floor of a small apartment building, and there is a parking place right by the front door, so is also ideal for people with limited mobility. On the main floor is the big kitchen, with all the equipment you could need for self-catering; a spacious warm lounge with fireplace and comfortable sofas; large dining table; three bedrooms (two twins, and one king) and two shower rooms each with WC. Downstairs from the entrance hall is a further large double bedroom with new super-king bed and deep mattress, ensuite bathroom with bath, WC and separate shower, and the ski storage area and boot dryers. The chalet has central heating and ample hot water. 

We manage two other properties in the building: Pigeonnier 1 (sleeps max 8) and Pigeonnier 2 (sleeps max 6) so if you book early enough the building is ideal for big groups!

From Chalet Hibou it takes 6-7 minutes walk to get to the SuperMorzine telecabine, across the Passerelle (footbridge), and 6 minutes walk down to the Carrefour supermarket, open 8am - 8pm during the winter and summer seasons. You can also walk down 5 minutes to the Church to catch the "A" free bus service to the Prodains cable car, or the "N" free bus to Nyon, or walk 50m across the road to catch the "M" bus to Ardent, where you have easy and fast access to Les Lindarets and Avoriaz. 

Please note: This chalet is not really suitable if you are mountain bikers bringing your own bikes (The only place to store bikes is on the lower floor balcony or main balcony and should be locked too, and bikes are not allowed to be stored in the boiler room). Please note: Due to the excellent location of Chalet Hibou, there's no need to have your own transport and if you like you can book airport transfers with us, see "Transfers" page! If you do bring a second car, and the other 2 parking places for the building are taken, you can park free about 8 minutes' walk away on the Route du Palais des Sports. 

WHAT'S INCLUDED: Winter ski season (Dec 13 - April 18 ): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. The Rest of the year: (April 18 - Dec 13): bedlinen and towels are included. End of stay cleaning is payable locally and costs €100. For all peak winter season weeks there is a minimum 7-night stay, Saturday - Saturday. DAMAGE DEPOSIT: We take a €300 Damage Deposit on arrival, either in Euros or Sterling cash, or in a UK or Euro cheque. We refund this deposit on your departure as long as we are able to check the chalet properly on your departure. If this is not possible (if you are leaving very early or very late) we will withhold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to check the property, and we will then return it to you by bank transfer. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for mountain biking groups.
