Apartment Chantal boasts an excellent location, close to the centre of Morzine, in full sun overlooking the river Dranse, with panoramic views of the surrounding mountains. From the dining table you can watch all the activity on the Pleney mountain through the picture window! This warm and comfortable apartment has plenty of space for 8 people – whether a large family or a group of friends. It has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms over two levels, a modern kitchen, and two parking places. There are clothes washing and drying facilities, warm ski and boot storage, and a lift within the building. 

It’s only 5 minutes by foot from the front door across the footbridge to the SuperMorzine lift, and 5 minutes’ walk down to the well-stocked Carrefour supermarket and several bars and restaurants. The swimming pool complex and ice rink are also just a couple of minutes’ walk via a short cut accessed through the building. 

On the main living floor, there’s a king bedroom, a bathroom with bath and overhead shower, a WC, the kitchen, and open-plan lounge / dining room with two sofas. Down an internal flight of stairs are a shower room and separate WC, a double bedroom with balcony access, and two good-sized twin bedrooms. All bedrooms have plenty of wardrobe space. The lower floor has its own separate entrance, accessible from the lift and central staircase. 

The apartment runs on a Sunday changeover in Dec / Jan and a Friday changeover in Feb and is available for short stay bookings in low season. Please note, for summer guests, there is no garage or enclosed bike storage - you may bring bikes down the external (private) staircase and store them on the lower front balcony out of sight, it is recommended that you bring locks to lock bikes to the railings however. The apartment is entirely yours - you don't share any parts other than the main entrance hall and staircase and lift. 

Route des Bois Venants is the main road linking Morzine to Montriond. However Chantal is on the valley side of the building, facing across the river, so there's no road noise whatsoever, and the views are stupendous! It’s only 5 minutes by foot from the front door across the footbridge to the SuperMorzine lift, and 5 minutes’ walk down to the well-stocked Carrefour supermarket and several bars and restaurants. The swimming pool complex and ice rink are also just a couple of minutes’ walk via a short cut accessed from within the building. You can also catch the free regular "M" bus service to Ardent (for fast access to Avoriaz and ski schools) from the bus stop almost opposite. There are two car parking spaces (NB normal length cars) right outside the front door. 

Please note that there is a Damage Deposit of €300 (€500 in summer for biking groups) to pay on arrival. This is held until the day of your departure, or when we have been able to inspect the apartment for any damage to any part of the apartment, or damage loss of bedlinen or towels. We cannot take the Damage deposit by credit card on arrival, only in cash or cheque, but you CAN pay it minimum 24 hours ahead of your arrival by credit card, by contacting us on by phone. Please note, for summer guests, there is no garage or bike storage. You can however bring your bikes down the external private staircase and store them on the lower front balcony out of sight from above or below. In Summer there is a cleaning charge of €80, payable on arrival in cash. Please note that if you are intending to bring a pet, you MUST ask us before booking, as we have certain conditions that you must agree to before you proceed to book.
