A great little 4-person flat with 2 bedrooms (one double and one twin) with a relaxing lounge area and smart modern kitchen with dining table and sunny balcony.

Apartment Jody, managed by Mountain Highs Morzine, is in an ideal spot for a family or two couples to enjoy an affordable holiday. It's a 12 minute walk into Morzine centre along the Route de la Plagne, and free buses run back and forth regularly along the road, winter and summer.

The ground floor apartment is centred round the cosy open-plan lounge / dining space and kitchen, which looks out through 2 large windows onto the balcony. The twin bedroom is off the kitchen, while the bathroom and double bedroom are on a separate wing at the back of the living space. There's a separate WC.

The apartment has a small private ski locker (suitable for 2-3 pairs of skis) and a locked communal room where you can store bikes (it's advised to bring a lock just to be safe).

There's free parking right behind the apartment building (Residence Nantaux A) and there are large grassed communal garden areas with shady trees and a boules pitch. You are welcome to bring your pet dog, there's a pet fee of €30, and please ask us beforehand as we do have certain conditions that you must agree to. We have a dog ourselves and can give you plenty of good ideas for places to walk yours!

> There is a minimum of 7 nights stay during the peak weeks (Christmas, New Year, the 4 February holiday weeks + first week in March) - you do get a 5% discount for booking 7 nights

> We don't take stays starting on a Tuesday or Wednesday (staff have to have 2 days off)

> In high season our bookings run from Sunday to Sunday

I'm available by email or phone from the moment you book, and we can give you information on all the resort facilities and services. I (Rachel) will be the person who checks you in on arrival and will probably be the one that checks you out too - I live 10 mins down the road in Essert Romand. We've been running Mountain Highs for 30 years now so we've amassed a wealth of knowledge about Morzine, the locals and the wider area!

Geneva Airport transfers: We operate our own airport transfer service in our licensed taxi minibus, which seats max 8 passengers in comfort with plenty of luggage space (VW Caravelle 4 x 4 long wheel base). We can offer shared transfers or private transfers, always door-to-door (unlike some transfer services who will drop you at the bus station!) – contact us for a competitive quote (Prices range from €95 per person return based on 4 travelling together, down to €66 return for 8 travelling together, and €530 return for a private transfer).

Discounts:

Please note that we offer a lift pass ordering service: you order your passes through us (at a lower rate than you would pay at the lift pass office) and we will have them ready for you in the chalet when you arrive.

We also have partners in resort for ski and board hire - once you have booked we will send you the link to book online at a 20% discount. (you will also receive this discount as Mountain Highs' clients even if you walk in to the shop without pre-ordering).

We can help organise evening babysitting for you, or point you in the right direction for childcare companies if you want to have a nanny at the chalet during the daytime.

We can also help with information and advice about ski lessons, and private ski guides. Please do book these services well in advance of your stay.

The "la Plagne" area of Morzine is peaceful and residential. The building is set back from the road so you don't get road noise - only cars for this Residence and Residence B pass by.

On your walk into town you'll pass a few restaurants (the excellent Chaudanne and Avalanche), a cheese shop (L'Alpage), and a superb supermarket Sherpa, which sells some great French deli foods and ready meals (as well as offering a supermarket delivery service for approx €20)

The apartment is situated a 10 minute walk from the centre of town. (5 mins by bike). There are regular free shuttle buses running along the road which stop 150m away.

WHAT'S INCLUDED:

Winter ski season (Dec 14 - April 22): bedlinen, towels and end of stay cleaning are included. There's a minimum stay of one week during the peak winter season weeks.

The Rest of the year: (April 22 - Dec 14): bedlinen and towels are included. The obligatory end of stay cleaning charge is payable locally and costs €70.

IMPORTANT: DAMAGE DEPOSIT. We take a €300 Damage Deposit prior to your arrival. This can be paid via credit / debit card or bank transfer (Revolut preferred). We refund this deposit within 3 days of your departure. It is also possible to pay by French cheque. We will hold the Damage deposit until we have received the keys back and have been able to properly check the property. Please note the deposit rises to €500 for summer mountain biking groups and at our discretion.
